Job Summary
A company is looking for a Recertification Claims Specialist to review approved claims related to changes in definition.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather information on Long Term Disability Claims
- Collaborate with case managers and consulting physicians to make ethical and timely claim determinations
- Review complex medical records and utilize various tools for approval durations and future action planning
Required Qualifications and Education
- High School diploma or GED, or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience
- 3-5 years of claims experience directly aligned with the responsibilities of this role, or 0-1 year with an Associate degree
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
