Job Summary

An education publishing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Access and Equity Editor.

Must be able to:

• Participate in conceptualizing and planning appropriate support for English learners in instructional materials
• Advise product development teams about contexts that affirm diverse learners
• Contribute to the development of guidelines and prototypes for teacher-facing scaffolding

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in educational publishing with experience editing print materials
• 3 or more years of experience with supporting English learners in accessing grade-level curriculum
• Working knowledge of WIDA and state-specific standards for English language development
• Working knowledge of K – 8 mathematics education and literacy education
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining the quality of the product
• Proven writing and editing skills
