Job Summary

A banking and financial institution. is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Accessibility Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying opportunities and developing solutions to ensure all our people, especially those living with disabilities, have an equal opportunity to succeed
  • Leveraging technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain infrastructure technology solutions.
  • Developing software components and hardware for projects; aligning these with business strategies and objectives.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience and sensitivity to the accessibility needs of people with disabilities
  • Ability to evaluate, deploy and scale enterprise technology products and services
  • Ability to focus on delivering great UX and design
  • 3 years of experience delivering accessibility or assistive technology solutions
  • 1 years of experience with assistive technologies (screen readers, captioning services, text magnifiers, etc.)
