Job Summary
A financial technology company is filling a position for a Remote Accounting Controller Director.
Must be able to:
- Scale accounting operations including implementation of necessary systems and policies
- Ensure effective internal controls and policies are in place and compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory laws
- Manage financial transactions of the Company, reconcile expenses & perform month end closings
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience scaling accounting operations for a rapidly scaling, high growth technology startup
- Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or experience leading corporate accounting function
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) and CPA certification ·
- Experience reviewing consolidated financial results with leadership team
- Experience with NetSuite (and other financial management tools)
- 8+ years of relevant experience
