Job Summary
An insurance company is seeking a Remote Accounting Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Managing all aspects of the program accounting results for review for the Domestic Auto line of business
- Coordinating, reviewing, and challenging all Domestic Auto quarterly Financial Reporting deliverables
- Ensuring Domestic Auto’s quarterly results are accurate and in accordance with US GAAP/Stat and Assurant policies
Position Requirements Include:
- College degree in accounting, plus CPA, chartered accountant or equivalent designation: CPA / ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in an Accounting/Finance leadership role
- Property and Casualty Insurance experience
- Effectively managing teams remotely
- Strong technical acumen
- Data analytical and problem-solving skillset
