Job Summary
A consulting firm is seeking a Remote Actuarial Consultant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Participating in request for proposal (RFP) process
- Serving as lead actuary on complex state Medicaid managed health capitation projects
- Developing the rate-setting assumptions that are built into the data model
Position Requirements Include:
- Present results and analysis to clients and key stakeholders
- Minimum seven years' Medicaid industry actuarial experience required
- BA/BS degree
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills; strong command of Excel
- Actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA) required
- Must have passed at least three preliminary Society of Actuaries (SOA) exam
