Job Summary
An insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Actuary.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and maintaining risk-based pricing tools, design and implement enhancements
- Communicating quarterly price adequacy insights for various aggregations of the Surety portfolio
- Cultivating collaborative business relationships with culturally diverse underwriting teams
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Attaining Associateship alone is not a sufficient criterion to operate at this level
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience
- Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and standards
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and interact effectively
- Ability to motivate and mentor peers and motivate and train subordinates
