Job Summary
An insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Addiction Medicine Licensed Physician in Memphis.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Developing guidelines and strategies to identify and manage complex addiction-related illnesses
- Assessing risk potential, provide and supervise addiction interventions, triage phone calls, and prescribe appropriate medications
- Providing initial evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing support for individuals
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for face to face meetings throughout the state of Tennessee
- Active and unrestricted medical license as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) within Tennessee
- Board Certified in Addiction Medicine
- 2 or more years of clinical practice, at least 1 of which is in Addiction Medicine
- Current certification to prescribe narcotic drugs in schedule III, IV, V, or combination of such drugs
- Computer literate and experience with Electronic Medical Records
