Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Advanced Research and Analytics Data Engineer .
Must be able to:
- Translate complex functions and technical requirements into detailed data architecture
- Code, test, and documents new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics
- Ensure all automated processes preserve data by managing the alignment of data availability and integration processes
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Bachelor's in computer science, computer engineering, or other relevant field
- 3+ years data engineering, data science and/or software engineering experience
- Ability to architect highly scalable distributed systems, using different open source tools (MapR and/or HDFS)
- Experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods
- Extensive knowledge in different programming or scripting languages (Java, .Net, PL/SQL and/or Unix)
