Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing and analyzing content of medical record to accurately assign ICD diagnosis and procedure codes
• Answering coding and abstracting questions from peers, doctors, hospital employees, etc.
• Maintaining coding accuracy rate

Qualifications for this position include:

• 2-4 weeks of on-site training may be required in either Hammond or Greenwood, Indiana
• 3-5 years' experience, preferably in dermatology and emergency room coding
• CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA
