Job Summary

An athletic apparel manufacturing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Analytic Solution Principal Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Building and delivering scalable data and analytics solutions focusing on the Commercial space
  • Contributing to all aspects of data engineering from ingestion, transformation, and consumptio
  • Participating in architecture and design discussions to process and store high-volume data sets

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area or equivalent
  • 10+ years relevant work experience in the Data Engineering field
  • 5+ years proven experience working with Hadoop and Big Data processing framework
  • 2+ years experience building scalable, real-time and high-performance cloud data lake solutions
  • Strong experience with relational SQL and programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
  • Experience with source control tools such as GitHub and related CI/CD processes
