Job Summary
A digital transformation and technology consultancy has a current position open for a Remote Android Mobile Engineering Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Conduct regular 1:1s with your direct reports to guide their ongoing professional development
- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews for your direct reports and setting goals individually and as a team
- Maintain a high degree of engagement, productivity, and quality of output from your team
Qualifications for this position include:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, preferably for mobile
- A degree in Computer Science or related field and/or a proven record of releasing apps to the store
- At least 3 years of Android application development experience
- Strong foundations in object-oriented design and demonstrated experience using architectural patterns
- Knowledge of CS foundations like data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, multi-threading, and complexity analysis
- Experience working with a wide variety of third-party platforms, frameworks, and libraries
