Job Summary

The NBCUniversal's new streaming service that brings together exclusive Originals is filling a position for a Remote Android Senior Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Producing a reliable, performant, configurable, state-of-the-art SDK.
  • Striving to constantly improve quality of engineering through code reviews, tech talks, pair programming and other collaborative practices.
  • Pushing technical boundaries and propose new processes and technologies

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with video-on-demand and/or linear video playback on ExoPlayer
  • Experience with the Android SDK and Android platform
  • Experience with building and publishing Android libraries
  • Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flows or RX Java and/or Kotlin Multiplatform
