Job Summary

A database monitoring platform is in need of a Remote API Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with others to define, and propose for approval, a modern API design strategy
  • Defining, documenting, coding and testing scalable and flexible APIs for new and existing features
  • Writing code, tests, and deployment manifests and artifacts

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Periodic travel to one of our offices
  • You are collaborative, self-motivated, and experienced in the general development, deployment, and operation of modern API-powered web applications
  • You have experience resolving API design issues in highly complex systems
  • API / Web Service administration experience
  • You are hungry for more accountability and ownership, and for your work to matter to users
  • You’re curious with a measured excitement about new technologies
