Job Summary
A software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Application Security Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Integrate security practices into the CI/CD Pipeline
- Conduct regular purple team testing on all applications
- Conduct technical evaluations to identify coverage gaps in existing information security toolsets
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of relevant industry experience in application security
- Coding experience in one or more general purpose languages
- Experience working with Consumer Identity and Access Management services
- Understanding of Single Sign On (SSO) frameworks and mechanisms such as OAuth and SAML
- Experience integrating and tuning security for microservices in a cloud infrastructure
