Job Summary
A technology and data company is filling a position for a Remote Application Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing architecture reviews to steer projects in the right direction
- Implementing security fixes and ensuring security scanners are utilized correctly
- Implementing and/or assessing existing security controls
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience required
- 7+ years of related work experience in security engineering
- Strong experience in web and mobile application security
- Strong experience in distributed platform development security and design
- Working knowledge of common software engineering languages such as Python, Golang, Javascript, Java, etc
