Job Summary

A financial software and business solutions company is filling a position for a Remote Application Support Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain complete documentation relative to the support of application software
  • Create and/or maintain utilities to resolve critical issues and provide useful information to support teams
  • Monitor and maintain product availability, capacity and performance for products based on defined service level

Qualifications Include:

  • Five or more years of experience in service delivery or related discipline
  • Proficiency to support technical environments
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Experience with the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem (Hive/YARN/HDFS/Impala/Scala/Spark)
