Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote American Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) in Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide interpreting services for students in a virtual setting
- Work full-time with flexible hours as a 1099 contract position
- Utilize technology to facilitate remote interpreting effectively
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- Valid certification from the RID
- Valid Illinois Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (IL BEI) Basic Certification or higher
- Bachelor's degree in ASL or Educational Interpreting
- At least two years of experience in a school setting
