Job Summary:
The Assistant Supervisor will focus on UniversalGiving 's recruiting projects and operational projects, reporting to the Co-Lead Office of the CEO and Operations Associate. As the Assistant Supervisor, you will be working 2-3 days, ideally in our San Francisco office located in the Financial District. We really appreciate your office presence, since you will play an important role in modeling our values. However if you are a very strong candidate, you can work virtually. We are a highly global and diverse team.

The Assistant Supervisor will have a fine understanding of UniversalGiving 's recruiting and operational needs. The Assistant Supervisor will interview paid, internship, returnship and volunteer positions both for San Francisco and globally. They will post job descriptions, interview candidates, log recruiting data in Salesforce. With proven Positive Attitude and Positive Execution, they may also be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day paperwork, state forms and operations. The candidate should have high professional standards, and strong written and communication skills. The candidate is ready to engage with a smart, efficient, and globally impactful nonprofit.

Able to uphold and reinforce our values
Oversee tracking and reporting on recruiting
Update Operations and Recruitment PMT (Project Management Tool)
Help update job descriptions and job postings
Help post and manage the team member who posts recruiting positions
Update Salesforce with new data entries necessary across all Business Units
Gather and confirm all the recruiting materials
Help on reviewing and assessing new candidates
Arrange phone calls, Skype, or in-person meetings for the next interview phase
Onboard new candidates with all new materials, orientation, processes and training; ability to both recruit and supervise when people are onboarding
Help introduce candidates to their coach/supervisor and assign them to their projects and supervise
Help with all the offboarding of interns/returnees
Willing to do Administration
Help maintain Google Drive and Dropbox for operations and recruiting
Research the corporates, stores or organization donations, put them in Salesforce
Create pro-bono opportunities and run pro-bono opportunities reports on Salesforce
Assist with day-to-day office management; sort and distribute mail
Improve the organization and order
Update manuals and ensure accurate documentation


Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge and experience)
Strong Experience in Recruiting/Operations
Project management experience preferred
Data Entry Salesforce experience
Must love order and organization
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills, MS Office; and ability and willingness to learn new tools
Strong basic working knowledge of in-office technologies (printer, copier, fax, etc)
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
A commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
Competence with Salesforce, Google Drive, DropBox; willingness to learn new technologies

Duration and Location:
Minimum one year commitment, preferably two years.
Our office is located in the Financial District, San Francisco, in a WeWork coworking space.
Position is available part-time employment 15-20 hours per week.
Candidates can work out of our San Francisco office, in the United States or globally. We are highly globally focused with team members from more than 20 countries, including Russia, China, Japan, Ukraine, Georgia, the Philippines, Haiti, Germany, Canada, Turkey, Taiwan, the Kurdish population, South Korea, the U.K., Brazil, Burma, Mexico, India, Pakistan.
