WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We're looking for a talented and passionate researcher to join our virtual, growing team in the US, throughout the Philadelphia and New York Areas. You will identify and win new business opportunities and build the client base by attracting new clients to the organization, penetrating into new areas (e.g. therapy franchises) of established clients. You will manage multiple qualitative, local and international projects, manage and motivate a team of professional researchers and be a spokesperson for the Company and a business leader within the Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Participate actively in the development of the organization, the business and the resources by seeking out new business opportunities (either directly or with colleagues based in the USA and EU), creating business plans for achieving these new businesses and managing the people to implement these plans.
-Play an active part in new product, service and methodology development, and in strategic and tactical decision making and implementation.
-Promote the unique services of the Company internationally, at congresses and directly when interacting with clients.
-Achieve yearly team and personal business targets set and contribute to plans for the Company to achieve its overall business targets.
-Manage all project resources including staff, freelancers, service suppliers and costs so that projects are delivered on time, within budget and have a WOW' factor.
-Maintain good communication/rapport with the clients and colleagues from the briefing meeting to debrief and final report.
-Decide on the approach and methodologies in order to fully meet the client's requirements.
-Develop the proposal for the client, involving others as necessary, and set up and decide on projects in terms of costings, resourcing, and decide with Field supply costs and choice of supplier.
-Write and deliver final questionnaires utilizing input from the team where necessary.
-Conduct in depth interviews with individuals and moderate focus groups (usually client viewed)
-Organize and attend client viewed pilot days alone (domestically and internationally) and resolve client related issues.
-Direct the analysis of the project data and run the "brain bash", ensuring that all objectives are fulfilled by the research.
-Write and deliver the debrief document and final presentation ensuring that the team contribute when necessary, both for client satisfaction and staff development.
-Present the final results to the client using relevant members of the team but maintaining accountability for the content and presentation.
-Ensure that all outputs delivered to the client from the project are of the highest standards within the constraints of deadlines and budgets.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU IF:
-Experience of market research and skills in specialized qualitative and quantitative techniques and models
-A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a pharmaceutical market research agency of which 2 years should have been at AD level
-Strong knowledge of market research methodologies is required
-A good understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in the US or globally
-Proven ability to meet operating income and cost budgets
-Strong sales skills and excellent client handling skills
-Good interpersonal skills, especially negotiating, writing, presenting and listening skills
-Excellent project management and customer service skills
-Team management experience and proven ability in motivating, developing and coaching people
TRAVEL: The role will involve frequent international and domestic travel (30-40%.)
