Job Summary
A technology company is in need of a Remote Associate Legal Counsel.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Partner with various internal stakeholders around risk assessment and management
- Advise on corporate governance matters, including assisting in updating corporate policies
- Support business and corporate development activities including drafting and negotiating NDAs
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an attorney at a law firm, entertainment, media or technology company
- JD from an accredited US law school
- Member of The California State Bar
- Ability to handle a high volume of work
- Ability to exercise judgment to appropriately discern when to escalate issues
- Ability to build business acumen and understand core elements of the applicable business areas
