A health insurance company has an open position for a Remote Associate Level 1 Nurse Reviewer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Receiveing pre-authorization requests from front-line intake
• Conducting initial medical necessity clinical screening
• Determining if initial clinical information presented meets medical necessity criteria or requires additional medical necessity review

Required Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current active, valid unrestricted RN license
• Knowledge of managed healthcare programs
• Good computer skills and solid typing speed and accuracy
• Ability to receive pre-authorization requests from front-line intake
