Job Summary

An IT company is seeking a Remote AutoCAD Drafter.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Evaluating original hard-copy drawings, and developing models/drawings within AutoCAD
• Scanning the current set of ship's drawings and/or hard copies of unmodifiable drawings
• Being accountable for a drawing conversion project of a scientific research vessel

Qualifications Include:

• A.A.S in CAD Technologies or equivalent work experience
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• 0-2 years experience generating and modifying AutoCAD models and drawings
• Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD drawing standards such as the use of blocks and layers
• Experience and familiarity with engineering drawing standards and conventions
• Operation of AutoCAD, including Mechanical & MEP tool sets to recreate archival drawings
