Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote AWS Big Data Engineer in Chicago.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Working across multiple client projects on developing and implementing big data analytics solutions
  • Maintaining an operating knowledge of cloud computing platforms
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL)

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Exposure 1-3 years of working experience building data pipelines and data lakes
  • ETL experience is a must
  • 1-3 years of working with Spark ORKafka
  • Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Strong Understanding in at least one of the following Python, Scala, Java or C++
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
