Job Summary

A professional services company is in need of a Remote AWS Data Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives
• Build tools to utilize data pipelines for analytical and application consumption
• Perform testing, maintenance, construction and development of large-scale data processing architectures

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Demonstrated experience in designing and building AWS data processing cloud-based infrastructures is required
• Experience in delivering solutions in an Agile/DevOps environment as well as deploying AWS infrastructure via code
• Ability to build and optimize data sets, 'big data' data pipelines and architectures
• 5 to 8 years' experience in building data/software solutions
• Excellent analytic skills associated with working on unstructured datasets
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement
