Job Summary

A technology company is in need of a Remote Azure Cloud Data Engineer in Hartford.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Assist developers with both performance and query tuning
  • Ensure that storage, archiving, back-up, and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
  • Hand over solutions to Managed Service team

Position Requirements Include:

  • Proficient in both SQL Server Always-On and SQL Server Failover Cluster Instance (FCI)
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience configuring Microsoft SQL Server for different availability requirements
  • Ability to author and tune Microsoft SQL Server queries
  • Ability to monitor and provide proactive alerting
