Job Summary

A car insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Back End Lead Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Design, build and maintain our backend Ruby on Rails and Kotlin applications
  • Define and refine technical best practices for scrum teams
  • Work with leadership stakeholders on company-wide initiatives

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Fluency in Ruby/Ruby on Rails and RSpec or similar testing frameworks
  • Experience with Kotlin and/or Java
  • Expertise with RESTful API conventions
  • High standards for quality and attention to detail
  • A desire to collaborate with and elevate your team to produce outstanding, high quality products
  • Demonstrated success leading technical implementations
