Job Summary

A company that. provides network and digital solutions has a current position open for a Remote Backend Senior Software Engineer in Austin.

Must be able to:

  • Design, build, and maintain Node.js based microservices running on Google Kubernetes Engine
  • Work with Front End Engineer, Product Managers, and other Backend Engineers to refine features and define APIs and functionality needed in our backend services
  • Collaborate with teammates and other teams through code reviews, design documentation, and collaborative cross team forums

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience building RESTful APIs
  • Proficiency with multiple languages (Node.js, Javascript, .NET or Java) and datastore technologies (SQL and no-SQL)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing providers, order of preference: GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for your production services
