Job Summary

A food and agriculture company has a current position open for a Remote Basis Prediction and Scenario Analyst.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Generating daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for stakeholders
• Creating a framework to approach basis decision timing
• Partnering with data science to create robust models for basis prediction

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (depending on location)
• 5-10+ years of cash grain trading experience
• Experience in SIF markets and/or rail cash
• Network of basis related contacts
• Comfort using some analysis tool (Excel, Tableau, Spotfire, etc)
• Expertise in Rail or River or Geography basis systems
