Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager I or II.

Must be able to:

• Refer cases to Peer Reviewers as appropriate
• Use appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment to assess member needs
• Perform psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder assessment coordination implementation

Qualifications for this position include:

• 3-4 years of experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder
• Requires M.S. or M.A. in social work, counseling, or a related field or a degree in nursing
• Current active unrestricted license in the state of CA as an RN, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT or Clinical Psychologist
• Previous experience in case management/utilization management
• Prior managed care experience required
