Job Summary

A provider of behavioral health services has a current position open for a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager II in Cerritos.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Supporting day to day call center clinical functions
• Using appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment to assess member needs
• Outreaching to providers as necessary for Utilization Management functions

Required Skills:

• MS or MA in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing
• 3-4 years of experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment
• Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
• Current active unrestricted license in the state of CA such as RN, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, or LMFT
• Previous experience in case management/utilization management
• Prior managed care experience
