Job Summary
A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Behavioral Health EAP Consultant and Counselor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide telephone and or on-site support for crisis intervention, assessment, and other issues
- Assess members and assist them in accessing behavioral healthcare benefits
- Manage shared mailbox that is used by clients and external vendor
Qualifications for this position include:
- B.S. degree in behavioral health or human services field
- 3-5 years of behavioral health and/or substance abuse experience
- Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Current unrestricted license such as (but not limited to) LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LMHC
- Ability to take a high volume of calls and meet contract performance guarantees.
- Ability to manage critical incident stress debriefing requests
