Job Summary
A staffing agency is seeking a Remote Behavioral Health Managed Care Vice President Medical Director in Philadelphia.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Overseeing national behavioral health utilization management
- Creating and implementing national medical and clinical policy and programs
- Interfacing with national and state medical leadership to evaluate emerging issues
Qualifications for this position include:
- The ability to travel
- Behavioral Health: M.D. or D.O. board certified in psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
- 5+ years post residency, clinical psychiatric experience
- Experienced in behavioral utilization review with a health plan
- Clinical experience with complex populations, Medicaid and/or Medicare
