Remote Behavioral Health Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Behavioral Health) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the interdisciplinary Medical Management team
• Develop and implement a Utilization Management program to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and participate in quality improvement activities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent international degree
• Board certification in Psychiatry or a related specialty
• Minimum of three years of direct patient care experience
• Unrestricted current and valid medical license in a U.S. state or territory
• Completion of residency training in an ACGME-approved program
