Job Summary
A language translation services company is filling a position for a Remote Bilingual Finnish and English Interpreter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Receiving client-calls and answer in a professional manner
- Rendering correct concepts and meanings between Finnish and English
- Providing clear and accurate renditions with no additions or omissions
Qualifications for this position include:
- Native, or near native, fluency in Finnish and English
- Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, and to act as a cultural broker
- Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation and remain neutral and objective
- Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology
- Completion of high school education
