Job Summary
A global staffing and recruiting agency has an open position for a Remote Bilingual Foreign Language Interpreter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Provide support to the community by working as an interpreter
- Provide exceptional customer service in stressful environments (i.e. medical calls)
- Handle appointments and interpret conversations between individuals with limited English language skills
Qualifications for this position include:
- Able to interpret conversations with perfect accuracy
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English and the specified language (Hmong, Somali, Burmese, Karen, Khmer or Laotian)
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week
- Thorough knowledge of medical and other industry terminology would be an asset
