Job Summary
A non-profit research and data aggregation project is seeking a Remote Bilingual French Africa Communication Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the overall user engagement and public outreach strategy
- Coordinate the production of outreach materials
- Liaise with the media and other key stakeholders
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 3-4 years of experience in journalism, media relations, and/or communications
- Experience developing and executing public outreach strategies
- Strong understanding of strategic messaging and conflict sensitivity
- Experience in media relations and/or journalism, including fact-checking initiatives
- Fluency in English and French
- Strong understanding of conflict, development, and human rights issues in Africa
