A translation company is seeking a Remote Bilingual Mam and English Interpreter in Oakland.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Facilitating the interpretation in a variety of subjects: medical, social, and legal
- Being fluent in both English and Mam/Mayan/Spanish
- Answering phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A landline is required to accept calls
- Be familiar with note taking and memory techniques
- Be accustomed with the consecutive interpretation process
- Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics
