Job Summary

A cancer treatment research company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Bioinformatics Engineer Bioinformatics Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and delivering scientific databases
  • Creating workflows to process and analyze high-dimensional data
  • Leading local and off-shore engineering teams to deliver informatics solutions

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in computer science, bioinformatics, or equivalent experience
  • Documented track record delivering and deploying large-scale informatics production solutions in the cloud using AWS/Azure and Docker
  • Understanding of NGS technology, and downstream -omics data analysis
  • Proficiency in working within a Linux/Unix environment
  • Strong scripting abilities using Python, Perl, Go, Javascript or any other related programming language
