Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to provide a variety of bookkeeping and accounting functions including payroll. Work will be performed remotely, supporting clients nationwide. This is a contractor position to direct hire.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter accurate data into accounting database (QuickBooks).
Process vendors' invoices and ensure timely payments.
Perform bookkeeping including deposits, customers' invoicing and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and submit payroll.
Maintain and balance general ledger.
Perform clerical and other related duties as required.
Provide back-up support in connection with accounting and taxes.
Timely communication with clients and internal team members.
Other tasks/assignments as required.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience.
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online
Experience managing inventory in QuickBooks is a plus.
Experience in the management of multiple contracts (including government) is a plus.
Must have excellent computer skills.
