Job Summary
A company that provides financial services is filling a position for a Remote Bookkeeper and Accountant in Charlotte.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Completing a significant portion of the monthly close
- Working with both cash and accrual basis accounting
- Managing time and tasks effectively in a work from home, results driven environment
Qualifications for this position include:
- May need to travel to the corporate headquarters a couple times per year
- Experience with and understanding of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience with startups, small businesses, and/or non-profits
- Willingness to learn additional accounting platforms such as Xero, Sage, Intacct, NetSuite, Great Plains, etc
