Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing student instruction
- Taking part in faculty-driven decisions and shared governance of curriculum, in some instances participating in curriculum development
- Providing one weekly office hour
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Current, unencumbered RN license required
- Faculty teaching undergraduate courses must hold a master’s degree in nursing
- Instructors are required to have experiential qualifications in addition to academic credentials
- Prospective instructors must enroll in and successfully complete GU900 Instructor Training Course in order to be considered
- Five years of professional experience
- Teaching experience required
