Job Summary
A health insurance technology and services company is filling a position for a Remote Business Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Effectively working with end-users and operational partners to identify business needs
- Assisting the functional owners in developing workflows
- Analyzing new configuration and changes to existing configurations to perform all Client and Claims administration
Qualifications for this position include:
- Prior experience with a highly automated and integrated claim adjudication system
- 5-7 years of experience with TPA and Self-Funding processes and at least 3 yrs in a business analysis role
- Understands health insurance benefit administration in a Self-Funded environment
- Knowledge of professional and institutional claims adjudication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other web-based software applications
- Coding knowledge and experience with CPT, HCPCS, ICD9, CDT, Revenue, DRG and other relevant medical and industry-standard codes
