Job Summary
A renewable energy company has a current position open for a Remote Business Development Coordinator in Cambridge.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining solar project financial models by state, incorporating a thorough understanding of various state-specific financial incentives and compensation mechanisms
- Supporting Director of BD with solar developer partnership management, communicating information between the Solstice team and developer partners
- Managing of sales prospecting process including introductory calls, proposal generation, RFP response preparation, demo coordination, and CRM management
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in business development, financial services, consulting, or other related field
- A deep understanding of the solar and renewable energy space, particularly the rapidly growing community solar industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to articulate value proposition to external stakeholders with passion and energy
- Experience at a fast-growing social enterprise with the potential to create a more just and equitable energy industry
- Strong interest in environmentalism, clean energy, and/or social equity a plus
