Ivy Insights Group, LLC is a full-service Human Resources consulting and professional coaching firm located in Lake Forest, IL, specializing in fulfilling long and short-term contract Human Resources engagements nationally, as well as permanent placement for all levels of Human Resources professionals across all industries. We also specialize in coaching and developing Human Resources professionals, executives and teams.
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development professional.
Ivy Insights Group, a start-up, is aggressively expanding our business and we are looking to hire the right people to lead the charge.
You: You are fearless, energetically collaborative and have demonstrated the ability to meet new people and learn about their businesses. You have an uncanny instinct for identifying challenges being faced by others, then developing and proposing creative solutions to solve problems. Most importantly, you are an entrepreneurial thinker and possess an insatiable drive to always deliver amazing client experiences.
Ideally, you possess the following qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related business field is required
At least 3 years of a successful sales career
Experience selling business services into Human Resources departments of small, mid-cap and large companies is preferred
Comfortable with all levels of business professionals, including the C-suite
Proven history of generating new business, while maintaining current book of business
High level of self-discipline for daily sales activities like phone/email outreach, setting appointments, researching prospects, and tracking leads throughout the sales cycle
Experience selling creative business services and using a consultative approach to solve problems
Has already built a large and proven network, but continues to enjoy networking, meeting people, and building relationships
Collaborative team player, who is also able to work independently and be self-motivated
Very effective communicator: strong writing skills, listens well, speaks articulately, and demonstrates comfort in leading presentations

Has established contacts at major companies and can start selling our consulting and placement solutions immediately
Previous experience selling what Ivy Insights Group offers: talented and certified HR professional services and candidates
Learns quickly, naturally looks for ways to contribute, and shows a high degree of responsibility and accountability
Well-versed: has sold a wide range of services and creative solutions, has experience with multiple industries, has been responsible for both winning new business along with nurturing ongoing accounts, and has worked in companies and on teams of varying sizes
