Job Summary
A contract consulting analytical laboratory needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Business Development Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Identify and develop new business relationships with accounts in the region
- Visit 15-25 accounts per month
- Develop proposals and quotations, review RFPs and RFQs, and initiate CDAs and MSAs
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to participate in industry tradeshows and conferences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific degree
- Knowledge of laboratory safety precautions for safe handling and disposal of hazardous agents, chemicals, and materials
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical and business information
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Knowledgeable in the use of CRM and LIMS
- Ability to work varied and extended hours/days, as business dictates
