Job Summary
A financial services and insurance agency is in need of a Remote Business Information Architect I.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Identifying and managing existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role
- Ensuring risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
- Following written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of information governance practices and standards
- Ability to use information architecture tools to include Infosphere Data Architect, Inforsphere Governance Catalog, Infosphere Metadata Workbench
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 additional years experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree plus the minimum years of work experience
- 4 years of experience in information or data architecture; or if Advanced degree, 2 years experience in information or data architecture
- Previous experience with modern data architecture environments (Cloud, Hadoop, NoSQL, etc)
- Proven ability to embrace new technologies of the future and operationalize these to deliver value (Data Virtualization, Cloud)
