Job Summary

A for-profit higher education company has a current position open for a Remote Campus Librarian in the Chicago Metro Area.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing short and long term recommendations for our libraries
  • Preparing recommendations for library services provided to students
  • Evaluating instructional resources for potential to enhance online instruction

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to travel to each of the designated campuses at least 6 times per year
  • ALA accredited Master's degree in library science/library and information science
  • 3-5 years of experience in an academic library
  • Well versed in innovative library sources, services, and technology
  • Well versed in APA and writing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
