Job Summary

A hospital and healthcare system is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Cancer Data Registrar in Columbus.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinating establishment and maintenance of registry
• Ensuring correct staging coding evaluation and survival reports are done
• Meeting state data submission deadlines

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Associates degree in an Allied Health field
• Certified Tumor Registrar or must obtain certification
• RHIT or RHIA credentialed through AHIMA
• Working knowledge of cancer registry
• Above average communication skills
• Ability to relate effectively to the public and health care professionals
