Job Summary

A medical coding service provider is in need of a Remote Cardiology Medical Coding Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing high quality E/M, procedure and surgery coding
• Focusing on cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular inpatient/outpatient visits and surgeries
• Working a minimum of 20-29 hours per week

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Current CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA required
• Must have at least 3 years of active procedure coding
• Must have at least two years of active E/M coding experience
• Must be able to maintain a 95% accuracy rate
• Inpatient and outpatient E/M pro-fee coding experience is required
